This is how a
legal dnb party was shut down in the USA a few years ago. When I say legal, I mean: he had permits, security team, insurance policy, and all requirements for creating this event.
In some parts of the world, there are people
executed for much less -- imagine that: sharing culture and creating music festivals results in a death sentence.
Not every country has the same attitude towards this music as it exists in Netherlands/Germany.
Good grief... land of the free. I though the US military was not allowed to operate on US soil, is it national guard? Anyway, terrible that armed forces shut down a party. On the other hand, the way hardstyle is spreading now, through small clubs and now bookings on bigger festivals prohibits such intervention. They won't shut down a party in a registered club, will they? And they can't shut down a outdoor festival with 100k people, just because the music doesn't appease them (can they?). They'll have public outrage on your hands.
The link of the Iranian death sentence, while a tragedy and a travesty, is not fair, since he was also a reformist and striving for democracy. It is very likely that contributed as much to his death as him organising music festivals.
