Q: What’s you name and where are you from?
T: I’m DJ Thera, my real name is Pieter Heijnen, and I’m from the North of Limburg.
Y: I’m Yuna-X, my real name is Kristel and I’m from the Netherlands, but a lot of people think I’m from another country!
Q: What label are you on and how would you describe your sound?
T: In 2008, I created my own label called ‘Theracords’. I will describe my style as a diverse, energetic Hard Dance music with no boundaries.
Y: I’m a singer and signed to Thera’s label. My style is very hard to describe. At least, I’m inspired by a lot of music, especially Electronic Dance Music.
Q: How do you feel about playing at this edition of Loudness and how did you experience your previous performances here?
T: For me, Loudness is the ultimate Raw Hardstyle event. It’s always a big honor to perform there and it always makes me very happy! It’s a combination of factors that makes it perfect: the location, atmosphere, sound, public, line-up and organization.
Y: I’m really delighted to play at Loudness; it’s a real honor to me! A new track from Thera and me, called ‘Surreal’, can describe that feeling. I’ve been to previous editions of Loudness as a visitor and I always thought it was a great event, so I really can’t wait!
Q: What do you expect of Loudness in ‘Klokgebouw’ Eindhoven?
Y: I’m expecting a tremendous edition, because the last edition was in ‘Klokgebouw’ Eindhoven was awesome!
T: Completely going out of our minds, from the beginning ‘till the end, on perfect sounds and great artists!
Q: What do you think of b2s offering opportunities to new international talents?
T: It’s great! Hereby, new artists get the chance to develop themselves and there will be more diversity of music within the scene.
Y: I think it’s great that new talents also get a chance to perform, because it’s a though scene for artists and this gives them the opportunity to perform at a big event!
Q: How do you prepare for Loudness?
T: That will mostly happen in the studio, where I work hard to create new exclusive tracks. The acoustics at Loudness are so good; it’s the ideal moment to play new tracks for the first time.
Y: A lot of singing and practicing, that’s the most important thing to do!
Q: Which track are you definitely going to play?
T: That must be our collaboration, ‘Surreal’.
Y: There will be a live-act in Thera’s set, because I’m singing. Besides, there will be a lot of new material exposed during the set.
Q: Which other tracks from other artists would you like to here?
T: I’m very curious about the new track from Wavolizer. I didn’t hear it so far, so I will let him surprise me!
Y: The new Blackburn track, it’s a collaboration between him and me. I think it’s an awesome track and I haven’t heard it yet at an event. Of course it must be played by Blackburn himself!
Q: Will there be any specials during your set?
Y: I’m going to sing live!
T: Yes, Yuna-X will sing some tracks of ours live for the first time at a Raw Hardstyle event. The combination of Raw Hardstyle and live singing is a big contrast, which I love. There are a lot of raw and hard tracks filled with a lot of emotion, I can’t wait to let the people hear and feel that!
Q: Finally, what’s the last thing you want to say about Loudness?
Y: I think Loudness is a marvelous event! I’m really looking forward to this edition. It’s going to be a special one for me, because my mother’s birthday takes place that night. She and my farther are planning to stop by.
T: Loudness is a must for every Hardstyle lover who likes it a bit harder, so be there and go crazy!
