Tomorrowland is back for 3 days instead of 2.
Everybody remembers the craziness during last year’s edition of Tomorrowland. In just 6 years Tomorrowland has grown from being a relatively small affair with 10,000 visitors into one of the most amazing events on the planet, that pulled in over 120,000 vistitors from all over the world in 2010.
Chosen ‘Best Belgian Festival of the summer’ by the listeners of Studio Brussel (Belgium), voted ‘Best European Festival’ by readers of OnlyforDJs (France), nominated for ‘Best Global Festival’ at this year’s IDMA awards and being the DJs’ choice of Best Festival all really means a lot to us. Time to take the festival to the next level!
After agreeing with the communities Boom and Rumst, the province of Antwerp and the recreational area De Schorre, it is with great pleasure we can finally announce that Tomorrowland will now take place over 3 festival days.
In essence this means that Tomorrowland will take place on Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July 2011, with the festival ground fully opened on all three days. The camping ground will be opened on Thursday 21 July in the morning, from the afternoon the warming up camping party will open the festivities.
Start presale
The anticipation for this year’s event has never been greater. Those wanting to attend Tomorrowland need to be aware that the event will sell out in a matter of days. Last year’s edition sold out 2 months in advance and all indicators point to this year’s event going much quicker.
This year’s presale starts on Saturday 2 April at 10h00 sharp via The Tomorrowland website and in the Free Record Shop stores in Belgium.
