Sometimes I have my moments, where I lose my sense of purpose. Being called out for all kinds of things I can not even relate to in the slightest sense and seeing people comment the same "do this do that come back to hardstyle" etc underneath every single post, not even noticing the message I intended to get across. It can be frustrating and it can feel endless.
Have I really made the wrong decision this time? Have I ended up in a world where I'm in between a group of people that is angry and another group that just isn't just all that passionate about music?
Yes. That is how it may seem on the surface. But it's not what matters. What matters is that it was time for me to get out of my little comfort zone. I now realize how comfortable I was 2 years ago. So so comfortable that my creativity started to fade. My motivation started to fade. I had nothing to fight for. And when I look back on my life, that is the single most important thing that has gotten me so far.
I don't want to know what is going to happen tomorrow. I feel most comfortable in the discomfort of not knowing. It thrills me to know that there is a world of opportunities lying ahead of me.
I had to make a change.
Throughout the years I have received so many fan art pieces and people tattooing quotes of my music on their bodies, and yesterday when someone showed me this, I was so deeply touched by the fact that it told me that there are still people out there who truly get inspired by what I do, that it instantly pulled my out of my dark moment and remembered me of why I took on this journey.
My path is clear. It is the path into the unknown. And even if it is not the path to the top of the mountain, I am going to enjoy the view to the fullest.

Overstap naar House gaat blijkbaar niet zo soepel als hij had gehoopt, misschien viel zijn DJ Mag plaats hem wel erg tegen ? Tegenvallende boekingen? Vooral die laatste zin zegt veel.
