Ilmar Hansen (born October 29, 1993), better known by his stage name Sub Sonik, is a Dutch raw hardstyle producer and DJ signed to WE R Raw. Last year he produced notable tracks like "Go Fuck Yourself", "Look At Me Now", "To Hell’ and made a remix for Brennan Heart’s acclaimed record: ‘’Outta My Way’’.
His tracks earning substantial support by the biggest names in the scene, who all support the distinctive Sub Sonik sound on the main stages.
With new tracks standing by and with the first row of bookings already confirmed, there’s a big chance you will come across Sub Sonik on the major events.

I’m not bound to any label at the moment, however I can still release under Theracords if I have something that fits the label. I’m still in good contact with Theracords and I still think it’s an awesome label, the freedom that they give to artists is amazing! I needed that freedom with my productions and I could always do that there and I’m really thankful for that, without Theracords, it would have been a lot harder. Also at QULT, I’m in the same position – I have a lot of freedom to make the album whatever I want it to be.

Nou goeie regeling toch, alleen maar positief dat hij zo vrij is, wie weet neigt hij over een tijdje weer wat meer richting Theracords en dan zit die deur tenminste niet op slot. Zo'n Geck-O moet lekker z'n gang kunnen gaan

Volgensmij is de algehele sfeer rondom het vast zitten aan een label toch al een beetje aan het veranderen de laatste tijd.

Over a month and a half ago I was ready to post my video clip for "New World" when something tragic happened, the "Sydney Siege".
This struck home quite hard, I was literally up all night watching the live coverage from Europe.
Following the events that happened I decided to not post my new video clip at the time and I'll explain why.
There are scenes in the "New World" video clip with men wearing full armoured vests & gun fights take place.
The storyline is not something that was similar to what happened but rather a love story set in a post apocalyptic setting with a twist.
But the scenery of violence and the armoured men was enough to make the whole project hit a little too close to home.
After some discussions with management, the project was put on delay. Christmas and New Years came around which was a pretty crazy time for everyone so it was planned for a early 2015 launch.
Tragically the horrific things that went down in Paris struck an open wound that lead me to delay the video once more.
In a few days time I will be finally be posting the videoclip and I want you all to know ahead of time that the clip is in no way related to any of these events but the scenery (mostly the uniforms which closely resemble the police swat style uniforms) was more than enough to throw me off posting it out of respect.
Hope you can all enjoy the clip which took a lot of money, work and effort make happen and even tho the track has been circling around on the Internet, mix compilations and podcasts and the clip is now quite a little late, it is better late than never!

Goed dat hij het zo gedaan heeft en het moet er wel een keer van komen. Aan de andere kant zou je zon soort clip (ik weet dat het niet gelinkt is aan Parijs, etc.) vandaag de dag nooit uit kunnen brengen met al die ellende.

Ik denk dat je je ogen nooit moet gaan sluiten voor dat soort topics.. Dan zou je films etc in dit ''genre'' ook moet cancelen..

Dus als ik het goed heb begrepen zat er beeld van geüniformeerde mannen en geweld in? En omdat er een paar weken terug een aanslag in Frankrijk was gaat de hele clip de prullenbak in? Okay.

Hoe kom je er nou weer bij dat die clip de prullenbak in gaat?

Er staat juist dat de clip eraan komt en uitleg waarom het verlaat is
