Profite is Rebourne

At the age of 17 Timon van Merriënboer aka Profite was the youngest artist ever to get signed by Fusion Records. This hardstyle prodigy only started to make music three years earlier. His first release on Fusion, ‘Spilt Second’, made clear Timon is THE new guy you have to keep your eyes on.

And yes, all eyes sure were on him. Apparently the talented young producer made such a good impression on the scene some even felt threatened. Within a week after Profite’s first release Fusion received a message from a hardstyle veteran with a slightly similar name. This veteran claimed Profite sounded too much like his name and he demanded Timon should change his artist name.

Since Fusion and Timon are all about peace and happiness, the search for a new name began. In the light of this situation Timon decided to change his name from Profite to REBOURNE. For the next release Timon will make a fresh new start in his bright and young music career. With his chin up and his head held up high REBOURNE is here for the future!
