Chris One - Convictions (Exit Mind Remix)

Zit hem natuurlijk om te beginnen in de naam, als mensen Tiramisu (ala Restaurant Mesfin) bestellen en de twist vervolgens niet lekker vinden zullen zij ook van mening zijn dat 'originele' Tiramisu lekkerder is. Daarnaast worden er in remixes vaak zoveel elementen uit het origineel gebruikt (met net een andere filter of compositie) dat de vergelijking makkelijk gemaakt is.

Ja maar vinden zij vruchten met ijs dan ook lekkerder? Dat zeg je er dan toch ook niet bij?
De remix is een nieuw product, die je chill/fijn/vet e.d. vindt of niet... maar volgens mij wordt de remix niet gedaan vanuit de gedachte dat het origineel kut is, in tegendeel denk ik! Je geeft er gewoon je eigen draai aan, vaak juist omdat je een plaat vet vindt.

Ja klopt, maar daarom vind ik het vaak wel fijn om de elementen die overeen komen maar dus anders zijn gebruikt juist met elkaar te vergelijken.

Live zal deze een stuk lekkerder gaan, vind het een prima track!
Maar toch vind ik het origineel fijner.

Wat een heerlijke vergelijking

Hahaha onwijze baas ben je ook!

Kicks zijn fijn, maar de rest vind ik niet spannend genoeg.

Niet zo bijzondere remix kicks zijn lekker de rest is wat saai.
Dan vind ik de remix van Caine lekkerder alhoewel daar de kicks dan wel erg tegenvallen.

Het probleem is dat hier de basis eigenlijk hetzelfde is, de vocals en de sounds/melodie komen namelijk overeen.

En als je er een ander toetje van maakt, noem het dan ook geen tiramisu. Vooral niet als het de naam tiramisu niet waardig is

Putting cranberries on a Tiramisu and changing some components might taste good but is boring as hell. I rather take the thing, mash it up and make a crazy sweet pizza out of it or smth..
I still make music because i like doing it not because i feel i need to deliver. its my hobby, my passion, i love it when people like what i do, but most of all i want to have fun with what I'm doing and stand behind my music.
i can tell you this track is my personal favourite of my discography so far.

I totally get your comments, it's more of a new track than a remix. and maybe to some of you nothing compared to the original , but you can always listen to the original track. it's not like the remix replaced the original, its just more or less an addition.

haha wauw wat een vergelijking weer met die Tiramisu

en ik denk dat het ook wel tijd word dat Exit Mind de "artiest" tag krijgt, hij staat gvd gewoon op Defqon in de Blue

Ik zou het een Tiramisu a la Vertigo noemen ofzo ja (een remix dus). Snap je punt niet echt? De basis (structureel) is bij Tiramisu toch ook hetzelfde? (dus niet zoals ik eerder zei "de basis", die je kunt veranderen, als in... een Tiramisu van een andere cake maken).

I made a global statement concerning comments of other people in general, not your track.
The comparison with the Tiramisu was just an illustration, to show people how I view upon producers making a remix... in general. So I guess you agree?
