So could you introduce yourself to the French part of the Belgian hard dance scene? As Geck-o I bring you diverse hardstyle music through exciting dj sets and fresh tunes from my studio.
I've had the honor of playing on amazing parties like Defqon.1, Dance Valley, Decibel Outdoor, Fusion of Dance, XXlerator, Loudness and many more!
My biggest hits are probably It's What We Are, Dancing Machine, 2-1, Do The Happy Face, The Hard Way and Soul Train
You have played on a lot of festivals, but which one is your favorite, and why?I don’t like pointing out favorites, because every party has its own charms and is not per se better than the other, just different.
I’d like to give Fusion of Dance festival a special mention though, as I got to make the anthem, and the organisation made an amazing show around it with crazy lights and fireworks!
Many people discovered you last year with the Headhunterz edit of your track “It’s What We Are”, in the first episode of hard with style... has this edit changed your career? What was your reaction when you discovered this edit?Yes, it definitely makes your name more well-known if the by far most popular hardstyle artist makes and plays an edit of your track! He thought the track was really refreshing, something different. He wanted to give his own touch to the kick and bassline, so I sent him the parts of the tracks et voilà!
I think he did a great job on it, gives the track a more mainstream touch
What can you say to Music-Hard for your future? It’s not confirmed yet, but I’ll probably play in Belgium somewhere in the beginning of next year. So keep your eyes and ears open! For the rest you expect lots of fresh new tunes from my studio
Tell us about your second project : Geck-e ... What kind of project is it ? Why keep the same name with only one different letter?Geck-e has the e of experimental. I chose to make it a side project, because it would be too confusing for most people to release those tracks as Geck-o, I want to keep that alias within hardstyle!
The name is only one letter different, because I still want it to be that familiar and clear that it’s me. Different, but still me!
With which artist you dreaming to collaborate?Would love to collaborate with my fellow Theracords artists again like Phrantic, Wavolizer and Thera, and I will! It would also be amazing to work with top producers like Noisecontrollers, Headhunterz or Wildstylez, very curious what results that could bring.
For finish: what can you say to the Belgian people in a few words?Enjoy the music with passion, and party hard!

Kiss from the Geck!
