To elaborate:
I was put in charge of running a channel that was acquired by another music group. There is a lot of subscribers on the channel already (over 20,000 subscribers), with an existing demographic of a primarily US/Canada/UK/Aus subscriber base. However, we've got help with promoting from the other channel that has like 350,000 subscribers.
The whole point is to show people what hardstyle is, and with any luck high-light some up and comers -- whether they have a label or not -- to encourage people who are otherwise not quite exposed to the music.
I'll also be uploading individual tracks, as well to help promote certain artists specifically. The "parent" group already did an experiment by re-uploading the Geck-O track to their channel with the Junodownload link. It resulted in quite a bit of exposure in only a few days, and within a day brought "It's what we are" to #8 on juno download charts for hard dance.
I'm working in coordination with some labels, as well as some independent artists... so if you guys know anybody, or have any music you'd love promoted feel free to send it my way.
