The Magic Show

The Magic Show is a hardstyle concept that started in the end of 2009 on a small radiostation called Hardshockers. After only a very short while it started to become one of the biggest acts on the station. With some darker sets than usual, Tita tried to bring some more variation in the hardstyle offer on the radio. It took only a few weeks for Tita to get motivated enough to really do something with his show. Realising that his own sets weren’t of high enough quality he thought of some things that could entertain the listener.
From that moment the Magic Show started to invite DJs for guestmixes. In february the 10th edition of the event came up. As a celebration we decided to make the broadcast 4 hours long and invited Thera, Solutio & The I’s, Freeze and Vitaz. From this celebration the concept changed into a radioshow that lasts 4 hours and contains mainly guestmixes.

Because of the effort it takes we chose to not invite new guests every week, but to work with residents. These residents have been picked by several standards. As first we really think that the sets have to be of very good quality. The most important standard is ofcourse the quality of the mixwork. Besides the mixing we also feel that we want to be slightly different then other radioshows, thatfor we also attach a lot of value to the originality of the DJ’s that play. For this reason we look carefully to the capibility of the residents to pick together tracklists and to dare to mix different then others. Then there is another important issue that we searched in our residents; we want our residents to value their carreer and thatfor act in such a way that they can not harm the Magic Show or themselves. Last point that we wanted to see in our residents is for sure not the least important. In order to perform in the show it’s important to be easy to communicate with and hang around with. We really feel like the Magic Show could grow to a big group of DJ’s that actually know all other residents and feel and act as a part of a community.

After some weeks of carefull considerations we have decided a select a small amount of residents. However to be able to offer the listeners variaty we also searched contact with some labels. In the contact with our labels we also seak several important points. The first point that we care for is ofcourse the quality of the productions. The Magic Show is supposed to be quality and we want all people involved to radiate this quality. Another important standard is that we would like the label to be representing their own style. Ofcourse for the labels counts the same standards as for the residents when it comes to behaviour, communication and loyalty.
At this very moment the Magic Show is broadcasting on Real Hardstyle Radio. We chose to move here because we feel like this radiostation is a station that gives us the freedom and support to provide the listener the best quality that we can. In cooperation with the station we are able to bring more variation to our listeners. An important part of the variation they offer is the studiosession that we can hold in their studio on regular base.

Right now we work together with 11 residents and 3 labels. The residents are to be heared once a month or two months, while the labels can be heard once every month. Besides these expanding amount of residents we also have a weekly guest in our show. In general the guest that we have in the show are the some more known performers in the harddance world.
The Magic Show is always searching for ways to improve and entertain their listeners. We can assure you that in the future you will hear a lot more of us. On the radio, but perhaps on other places too. We are always searching for new residents, ideas and partners. Bekend als resident van een van de grootste clubs in Nederland en ook te boek als een zeer talentvolle opkomende producer. Verwacht wat nieuwe tracks en een snoeiharde avond!

Bedankt, leuke intro, alhoewel de hardstyle zaal niet echt heel veel voorsteld bij "mijn" club.

Kleine impressie, ik ga een set neerzetten van zowel oudere als nieuwere tracks, in een opbouwende lijn van minder hard naar hard, hier tussen zitten 1 nieuwe productie van mij.

Hij geeft gewoon aan dat hij een show heeft en vraagt jullie te luisteren. Erg goede show overigens, doe je netjes met die artiesten! (ik zeg niks )
Ik luister gewoon weer mee maat!

Ik vind het nogal een vreemde manier van je show aanprijzen. Het kan sowieso gewoon in het nederlands inderdaad, maakt al een verschil. Het lijkt nu alsof je het zo van de ene pagina naar de andere gekopieerd hebt. Een stukje meer uitleg of vertellen wat je eigen inzet erbij is had het misschien minder spammerig laten lijken.

Ik kan in de berichten van Tita namelijk ook nergens terug vinden wie hij eigenlijk is... En ook het bericht van NeroZ vind ik wat apart. Ook zijn eerte reactie en er staat meteen reclame in. Vind dat nogal vreemd, stel je aub eerst even voor.

Ik snap wat je bedoelt, al heb ik hier al eerder gepost op reactie van de show, die hier namelijk is gepost. Sterker nog ik heb dit rechtstreeks van hardshockers.fm af gekopieerd.
Hoe dan ook, het was niet de intentie om "reclame" te maken. De show is een hobby en ik denk dat er leuke en interessante artiesten langskomen vandaar dat ik dit graag met jullie deel

Mind Illusion has announced that his LIVE act will be 1,5 houre long and will be dedicated to the Future Sound Coorperation!!!!

I can aswell announce already that on the 18th of january djs/producers DFusion will provide us some hard material for the evening!

And since I'm busy anyway I can announce a very special edition of the Magic Show. Since the show is running for 10 weeks (of which 1 show was canceled!) I decided to share the entire evening with you guys.

At 20:00 exactly DJ Thera will be heard with an early Brennan & Heart set! After 1 hour of reliving the past Tita will entertain you for 60 minuts more! Have a drink, go to the toilet during that set, because at 22:00 exact DJ Solutio will play a intense set!! This producer of the Mythica label is one of the most promising artists at the moment. Tracks like City Of Chaos have been supported by big artists and played on big festivals!
But since the evening is so long it would be good to end the evening even heavyer and harder!
Thatfor at 23:00 DJ Matt Restless will give you some stunning hardcore beats as a goodnightgift!

Be also prepared to face various other great artists in the weeks afterwards and keep an eye on this thread to keep up to date!
