Interview Stana:

Stana, who’s real name is Aram Alnashéa, always had a passion for music. When he was just one year old, he used to drum with spoons and anything else he could find. “My dad noticed that I was musically constructed, so by the age of six, he took me to a TV station. That’s where I got my first TV appearance, singing in a kids television show!” Years later, when he turned 13, Stana discovered electronic music. “The first tracks I remember listening to were Hard Trance and Hardstyle tracks from artists such as Scot Project, Pavo, The Prophet, A*S*Y*S and more. So when I started producing my own music, these influences got stuck into my sound.” Nowadays, Stana still listens to the same styles as he did before, but he expanded his horizon and his style got influenced by; Techtrance, House, Trance and Techno. “My heart keeps beating for Hardstyle, even though I listen to so many different styles at the moment. Trance touches me on an other level and I think every producer can agree with me that everything is so differently mixed with so many styles nowadays, that it’s growing day by day.”
With everything Stana does in the music business, we can call him a man of many colors. The label Tech Mania Records has been Stana’s pride & joy for quite some time now. The various amount of styles he uses all incorporated into the so called ‘Stanastyle’. “I started Tech Mania Records to release my own sound. Usually when your style is similar to others, you tend to become friends and support each other, so Tech Mania Records is all about friends and producers who all make almost the same style gathered in one label.”
Stana’s first international gig took place in the year 2008 in the UK at an event called Pams House. “I remember it was my birthday, I just turned 19 that night. Ever since that day, I’ve played in many countries all over the world and released over 30 singles and remixes.” Stana’s first Q-dance appearance was last year when he played at Defqon.1 and Q-BASE. “It was such an amazing experience for me! I think that my gig at the ORANGE stage at Defqon.1 last year was one of the highlights in my carreer. You just never forget your first time with Q-dance. Haha! This year I opened at the main stage at Defqon.1 and I also received the honor and privilege to open one of the most massive events: Qlimax! YEAH!”
