“The end of a melody is not its goal: but nonetheless, had the melody not reached its end it would not have reached its goal either. A parable.”
- Nietzche

My love for music has come to a point where I’ve had to decide which way to go.
You see, I’ve spent the last few years traveling the world, performing, partying, making music - friends & haters
But I got lost on its way. I forgot about what matters to me, so..

In deep regret I’m announcing the end of my career as a performing artist.

I fully acknowledge and I am eternally grateful that I was living a „dream life“, supporting myself through music production and performance, DJ’ing has literally shown me the world. However, at the same time - the lifestyle is fraught with mental health pitfalls. Extreme sleep deprivation, difficulty maintaining relationships, increased social media pressures, over-saturation of the market, long periods of isolation, and constant career instability.

I have been blessed with a hard working team at Headliner Entertainment, Wishlist Agency & Dirty Workz - which always looked after me, tried to help me & supported me.
I’d like to thank them for all the work and support over the past years, it has been a wild ride.

And of course a big thanks to YOU - all my fan’s that came out to my performances, whether it was clubs - festivals - events. It didn’t matter what weather or location, you guys kept showing up and I am forever grateful for your support.

However I am not gonna let go of music production, I will continue to produce and release music via dirty workz and I hope you will still find the joy in this, as a rather famous song of mine said „find the joy in music, find the joy in each other“

I’m gonna continue to perform on all agreed shows until December 9th!

Thank you everyone. ❤️

Bye Cyber.

Hello friends!

I’m super hyped to announce my new act ‘Jesse Jax’!

With the amount of music and progress that I made over the last few years I wanted to take things to the next level, and with Jesse Jax, i’m going to do just that.

For now I want my new music to speak, and with that said you might have noticed that my track ‘The Virtual World’ is premiered by Sub Zero Project on the Qlimax CD!
More info about that track in the coming weeks!

Feel free to ask me anything about this announcement!
I’ll keep you updated.

Hoe moeten Engels sprekende mensen uberhaupt Koch uitspreken. :P

Hallucinating... most of you probably don't even know it and yeah, why would you. It's quite an outdated hardstyle track, but I do have an interesting backstory about it ;)

While it's officially released as a remix from my side, it's actually a Geck-o original! I made it one year after I started producing, and sent it to a few artists for feedback. Hardstyle veteran Zatox picked it up and wanted to release it, and he arranged Frequencerz to do a remix.

I don't remember what happened on the Italian side there, but it all took too long and the Freqs proposed to release it with their next collab instead. To fit within this release, we switched the names around, and my original now became the remix

Eager to release fast, I didn't care much about the right credentials and business deals, so I gave it a go and had this one released on Explosive Records, who even pressed it on vinyl. Digital downloads were still not taken seriously back then, so I was more than happy to have it on wax.

Or well, have it? The record company never sent a copy over to me, and I never earned any money with it either because of the remix construction. But I didn't care, and still don't; my music was out there and that was what mattered

Back then, this track represented what I loved most about my favorite kind of music. A big melodic anthem, with driving reverse bass, playful vocal cuts, epic choir breakdown and a beautiful but hard hitting climax. Nowadays though, it sounds quite outdated and I had to overcome some pride posting it :P

But I can definitely hear the soul in there of that 18 year old kid making it, and laying the foundation for what was to come. And to be honest, I'm quite impressed what I managed to improvise and make by hearing, with almost no technical skill.

Interessant verhaal.

Maffiapraktijken dit! :list:

Maar dat gebeurt serieus wel eens dat de Maffia zich met een label/artiest/feest bemoeit daar in Italië.
