“Hi there! You'll never guess what happened Friday night… I was working on a new Tuneboy track at Alternative Sound Planet. The studio was packed, hardstyle music everywhere. Tunebeats were flying around, the track was working out great. I turned towards the keyboard to finalize it and guess who’s there, standing in my studio: this damn cursed Umbrella! He needs help! He kept on bumping into me, giving me dirty looks…

I asked him what the problem was and he yelled at me he couldn’t take the heartbreak of me leaving him again. And he said he was not the one he was back then. He couldn’t take it anymore to sit home alone. What a wacko. He said he needed a place to run and hide, to relax a while and clear his mind.

He started shouting about how I was always working in the studio and on top of that, having bookings in the weekend. I was never there, I really neglected him lately. He seemed very angry as he was opening up and closing down again all the time, trying to sting me with his aluminum parts. The waterproof fabric looked more black than ever before. Damn, who the fuck did this umbrella think he was? Rambo?

Now it was my turn. I grabbed him by the handle and told him: “I will have your options for ya. Okay? Option A: I talk, you listen, no pain. Option B: It will hurt. Option C: I'd like to vary the details a bit, but the punchline is... you die.” I wanted to throw the clearly cursed umbrella out of my studio but he started growling at me and said “I’m staying! And you, you’re gonna love me!”

At that moment the door of my studio opened and I hoped it was Technoboy, coming to help me out. But guess what: my studio was invaded by hoovers and blenders, following this big talking broom. And while they were messing up my whole studio, sweeping over my keyboards, trying to vacuum my equalizers, the umbrella escaped from my hand and started jumping around. And the scariest part of everything so far was that he was singing over and over “I’m a real sex maniac!” with the voice of Tom Cruise! It was one big chaos in my studio, the hoovers and blenders were screwing up all my machines and the last thing I saw was the broom typing on my computer: “Brooms don’t like melodies, never forget that!” And then, everything turned into black, just as black as the color of that damned umbrella that punched me on the head and knocked me out.

Hours later I woke up, as Technoboy finally entered my studio and restored me to consciousness. He didn’t even hear all the noise coming from the studio, he said he was working but I bet he was too busy watching porn. Those girls are noisy too. Anyway, we realized something terrible happened: thanks to the mess with that umbrella, my new track was gone! All the arrangements on the computer were changed, the whole break and melody were gone, the vocals had disappeared… all there was left was just one straight track with all the noises the hoovers, blenders and the broom had produced. Thank God, the day before I saved the unmastered version of my new track, containing my beloved Tunebeats, on a USB stick. But I only had a couple of hours left before the weekend; I HAD to finish the tracks! So all I could do was finalizing the A-side and use the crazy version that was on my computer now as the B-side. And then, all I could do was wait, for Saturday. What would the people at Knock Out! say…” ~ Antonio ~
