Gearbox makes its a sensational return this Thursday on Hardstation.FM after a 2 month absence from the airwaves. The hosts of Gearbox, Tonic Wasterz, will spin a 4 hour set exploring various styles in dance music that ranges from Techno to Electro, Trance to Techstyle and Hardstyle to Hardcore.

Gearbox will now be airing every Thursday on Hardstation.FM after the demise of Real Hardstyle Radio. Desudo brought Gearbox to internet radio on Hardshockers.FM in Februay of 2009. Unfortunately Hardshockers could no longer be funded and closed at the start of April in 2009.

It wasn't long before Gearbox was picked up by Real Hardstyle Radio, but at this point Gearbox benefited from the help of Crysonic who had been running a similar show also on Hardshockers.

The show established itself as one of the best online for hardstyle as it brought an underground sound to a fairly mainstream station. Not just with the mixes from the Tonic Wasterz but also with the guests mixes from many well respected names in hard dance.

Gearbox boasts an amazing list of DJ's that have mixed for the show which includes names like Kidd Kaos, Alex Kidd, Bootek, Dark By Design, Toneshifterz, Crypsis, Brainkicker, Sasha F, Geck-O, G1 and Twizted, Hardstyle Mafia, Nitrouz, Audio Damage plus many more.

Now the show returns with a clear view to bring the listeners something different as Hardstation.FM allows the lads to explore various different genres in dance music.

Also keep an eye out for an amazing night on Thursday the 4th of November as Desudo celebrates his birthday with a special edition of Gearbox.

Wanneer je er geen moeite voor wil doen, zal je het ook nooit leren. Je zal er over een aantal

het stuk hierboven. Dit is echt een nuttig stukje omdat het informeert over een show
die meerdere genres combineert in een 4 uur durende set. Dus ook op het muzikale vlak valt
er nog iets te leren; iets wat veel Hardtraxxers goed zou doen!

For Desudo's birthday we have arranged a Gearbox special B-day bash. Desudo decided to ask various DJ's ranging from up and coming talents to well recognised names, DJ's who have helped him progress as a DJ, as well as regular Hardstation names. The night will follow a typical Gearbox path as it starts with some Tech Trance and progresses through Hard Trance and ends with Hardstyle.

Brian Hayes
Our first DJ has only been mixing for 7 months but has shown incredible promise and we're delighted to give him his first airplay as his drive, devotion and love for the music is utterly incredible. Brian will spin an hour of the best new tech trance going at the moment.

Lee Mac
Lee also hails from Ireland and is another name to look out for. His mixes incorporate a perfect blend of nice tech trance and banging hard trance. As well as being a skilled DJ, his productions never sound out of place when being played alongside some of the most banging tunes out there at the moment.

Loony
Loony has been an inspiration to Desudo and has helped him improve over the past year and a half. His excellent track choice and excellent mixing skills finally paid off earlier this year as he landed a residency as Glasgow's Soundhaus and has played alongside some huge names in the hard dance scene.

John Cove
When Desudo first started listening to hardstyle, John's show on Hardshockers.fm was one he tried to catch as much as possible. As a regular Thursday night resident of Hardstation.fm, it was only fair that he also spins an hour for us.

Desudo & Stana
Stana has given himself instant legendary status within the Tech Trance genre after he burst onto the scene in 2008 on the Darksquad and Theracords labels. Stana's talent was recognised instantly and it didn't take long before he was rewarded with a gig at Defqon.1 and his set was definitely one of the best of 2010's Defqon. Desudo will start the mix off with some older Tech Trance tracks that got him into this style in the first place.

KloneZ
One of the best prospects on the Kiddfectious label is Canadian DJ KloneZ. He is making a great name for himself within Hard Trance with some great releases and fantastic remixes - including his remix of Kiddstock Theme 2010 which is regarded as the best of the bunch. He is making a serious impression within Europe which we can see from his recent appearance on Fausto's Crossover Show.

Tonic Wasterz
Desudo and myself will then spin an hour of various genres in a track packed mix that has a little something for everyone.

Geck-o
Geck-o has established himself a golden child of Theracords with massive releases such as Smasher, Full Force and his most recent release Forces Of The Universe. Geck-O is not only a fantastic producer and huge prospect for the future, but he is also an excellent DJ who's tracklists never cease to amaze.

Pithune
Everyone knows the talents of Pithune already as he has been mixing online for years and various different stations that include Fear FM, Real Hardstyle Radio and now Hardstation. Pithune has been a big influence to Desudo over the past year as he has given a lot of feedback and advice as a DJ. Desudo feels his talents as a producer are underated (by everyone aside from himself) but hopefully we will soon see Pithune rise to be a huge name in hardstyle like he deserves.

This Thursday on Gearbox we pay attention to two of the biggest names in Hard Dance, Thilo & Evanti, and up and coming talent from Down Under, Delete. Both these DJ's will play sets featuring lots of variation and a huge amount of Tech sounds, as well as our guests, we the hosts, Tonic Wasterz, will play a set that looks at some of the newest and best in Hardtrance and Hardstyle.

Thilo & Evanti, we are delighted to announce that these two legends in Hard Dance scene, will kick off the show with a 2 hour mix ranging from Hardtrance to Hardstyle. These two artists have been in the scene since 2001 and have played all the biggest events. This year they started their own record label 'Analogue is Dead' which has had massive releases like Robbie Magura's Love Music and their own huge release Decay & Release which included a thumping remix from Kamui.

Then the hosts, Desudo and Crysonic will spin another mix of the best new, as well as old, releases in a thumping hour of music.

And to close the show Delete will end the show on a very hard note as he exposes your ears to a new wave of Hardstyle. Delete is at the forefront of Spoontech Records alongside Vazard and his exciting new brand of Hardstyle is sure to take off.

Thilo and Evanti - We zijn zeer blij om te mogen aankondigen dat deze twee Nederlandse legendes van de Hard Dance scene de show zullen starten met een 2-uur mix. In deze mix zullen verschillende genres aan bod komen gaande van Hardtrance tot Hardstyle. Deze 2 artiesten zijn sinds 2001 aanwezig in de scene en hebben al op alle grote events gestaan. Dit jaar hebben ze hun eigen label opgericht, Analogue is Dead, hierop zijn al meerdere dikke releases uitgekomen van onder andere Robbie Magura en natuurlijk ook eigen releases, inclusief remixen van Kamui. Ze zullen zeker de show starten in stijl.

Hierna zullen de hosts van Gearbox, Desudo en Crysonic, verder gaan met een set waarin ze de nieuwste releases in de Hardtrance en Hardstyle scene zullen draaien.

Daarna is het de beurt aan Delete van Australie. Hij zal de show eindigen met een harde noot van nieuwe hardstyle. Delete is een van de hoofdmannen van Spoontech Records, samen met Vazard zullen zowel hun releases als label snel bekend worden. We kijken er naar uit om meer van deze DJ te horen.

There have been some changes to the lineup as the Thilo & Evanti set is a special live recording from their tour in Australia so we're gonna leave that till the end of the night as the bitrate quality is better in the first 4 sets. Sorry for the inconvience, but now we bring 2 more sets for your listening pleasure.

Firstly, we bring Project.Tek, now gaining experience in all aspects of the dance music business, flying under the wings of events such as ‘Scandalous’ and other local DJ’s who share a mutual respect and passion for the twisted tunes and the DJ ways, Projekt.Tek is fully engaged in the evolving industry and tomorrow will bring a set to rock your speakers.

And secondly, Catatonic Overload, with their current two releases at Theracords they have proven to be raw, hard and diverse with their hardstyle. In recent sets they have shown high attention to buildup and variation and you can't expect anything less from them this week.

Er zijn een aantal wijzigingen in de line-up gebeurd. De set van Thilo & Evanti is een speciale live opname van hun tour in Australië. Dus laten we deze tot het einde van de nacht omdat de bitrate kwaliteit wat minder is dan de eerste 4 sets.

Ten eerste brengen we Project.Tek, Ze doen nu ervaring op in alle aspecten van de dansmuziek, Ze maken events mee zoals ‘Scandalous’, Ook delen ze een gemeenschappelijk respect en passie voor de 'tunes' en de Dj manieren.
