different melody, different kicks, different chords, atmosphere, vocal and video
Technically, you're totally right. My criticism was more based on atmosfere/feeling I got from both tracks. Before the darkest hour this 'arrangement trick' was never done before (correct me if i'm wrong) and before 'lights out' only done once. in addition, the track has also been voted #1 this year. The darkest hour is a super original track, but if you consciously copy the character of last year biggest hit within your own creation.. That is another producer I once knew as Phrantic
For me, Phrantic stands for one of the freshest sounding and most original hardstyle producers I know. From Become one to Road warrior, LSD, Necromancer to Time.
Time was also a heavy influenced track (2010 Noisecontrollers vibes ) but in my opinion in his own unique way. Not a copy of a particular track but more a sound or era.Perhaps you are on a different road now, you've always been on the move. Though this is the first time I'm not on board. And that's on me.
BASKET!, partly overexaggerated (fuelled by the emotion of maybe losing one of my favourite producers) part not.
