Toen ik een paar jaar geleden voor het eerst iets van deze producer hoorde dacht ik dat hij het binnen no time best ver zou gaan schoppen, helaas vind ik dat er weinig vooruitgang zit in z'n productiekwaliteiten.

Kicks hebben sowieso weinig kracht, maar dat beetje kracht dat er in zit gaat compleet verloren wanneer die pitcht, zowel omhoog als omlaag. Sounds klinken ook erg dun, en in de intro een beetje ver weg. Melodie doet me ook niets helaas.

Precies dit. Zijn track 'storyteller' uit 2011 is echt heerlijk. Goede sounds en drive. Helaas nooit meer iets van hetzelfde niveau gehoord bij hem.

Yhimself finally drop his debut release after years of YouTube tutorials teaching others how to be as good as he is. This fantastic 3 track EP is a far cry from Gearbox's recognised sound, but Gearbox prides itself on having an ear for talent and Yhimself has bags of it. Beautiful and extremely catchy melodies make this euphoric release one to remember.
